"I am grateful to have gone to one of the finest Universities in the country. It was there at the University of Florida where my coaches, teammates, and academic counselors gave me the confidence needed to reach my full potential both on football field and in the classroom. I am also thankful for the fans that have supported my career through the up's and downs. As I reminisce on such a wonderful athletic career, I realize now that it was not the accolades or the awards that fascinated me the most. It was the journey!!"

Welcome to the Errict Rhett Foundation website. First I would like to thank you personally for showing interest in my charitable organization. As a young boy growing up in Hollywood, Fl, I am grateful to have had individual come into my life and play such a positive role that have impacted and influenced my life forever. Although, we lacked material items, my family's love was all the nutrients needed. I watched my mother come home tired every day from working 2 jobs only to fix dinner and lay her tired body down to rest on the same couch for 19 yrs. Because of her integrity and determination to be a great mother, she became my inspiration to be successful at any endeavor I chose. That is why the Errict Rhett Foundation is committed to meeting the needs of disadvantage children. I believe that if you and I make the commitment to encourage these youth to reach their full potential and help them to face their future striving for excellence, we would have done a large part in trying to make the world a better place.
